Tim Russert - A Media Great

I'm not one to get wrapped up in celebrity. I don't particularly care who is in rehab, who is dating who, and what causes they support. I can, however, recognize a person whose intelligence and dedication to their craft has helped me personally better understand this world.

Tim Russert passed away today of a heart attack and my Sundays will not be the same without him. I would look forward to Sundays at 11:00 am and would schedule around that 1 hour block because I so valued Mr. Russert's political roundtable take on issues, his direct questions, and his devotion to reporting the truth. He asked tough questions but he was always respectful to his guests, some of the most powerful people in the world.

He didn't spin stories, he wove them. He will be missed.
